The Medina County Learning Center of the University
of Akron will be a 100,000 GSF complex that will house classrooms, offices and
support functions for up to 2,000 students. Recommendations from the recently
completed site study provided by the University of Akron will guide the site
development for this project, including utility services and distribution,
street design and building site design. The Medina County
Engineer will design the township roads that will border the proposed site to
the east.
McCoy Associates is charged with site design
engineering services including layout, grading, parking lot, drainage, lighting
and access road design. The goal is to incorporate the campus into a rural
setting with minimal disturbance to the natural surroundings. To accomplish this
the engineers at McCoy Associates will work closely with the Architectural team,
the University of Akron and the Medina County Engineers office. |
