McCoy Associates, Inc. designed and performed the construction administration functions for the improvements to the existing intersection which consisted of two-lane roadways with open drainage and newly constructed double-hung signals with supports and overhead span wire. The intersection improvements increased the capacity through the intersection, decreased delay, and improved the drainage and overall safety for the traveling public.

This project included environmental studies and documentation, reconstruction or alterations of intersection signal and appurtenances, pavement widening and reconstruction for turning lanes, pavement markings and striping, driveway improvements/adjustments, construction of an enclosed drainage system and the addition of a pavement base drainage system, signing, geotechnical evaluation of roadway subsurface conditions, and construction administration and inspection.
